PORTLAND, Ore. —
Portland Police took to social media Monday to remind people it’s not okay to speed on Portland area freeways. Officials urged drivers to be cautious while driving this Memorial Day.

In a tweet from the Portland Police Bureau’s Traffic Division, officials posted two photos of a radar gun showing one driver clocked at 98 mph and another clocked at 100 mph.
“Couple of Memorial Day speeders on I-205. Nearly double to speed limit is ridiculous and unacceptable!!” the tweet read.
PPB brought back its Traffic Division earlier this month following a two-year hiatus.
