Police identify victims in two deadly traffic crashes

Portland police on Monday publicly identified the victims of two deadly traffic crashes over the past month.

The pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash May 24 is Lara C. Morrow, 35. The Portland woman was found along Southeast Division Street, east of 122nd Avenue, just after 1:30 p.m.

Police have said their preliminary investigation indicated an eastbound driver on Division struck Morrow. The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to email crimetips@police.portlandoregon.gov, case number 23-135823.

Police on Monday also said the motorcyclist hospitalized in an April 30 crash died May 25. The driver was Steven X. McQueen, 54.

The Portland man had been driving east on Southeast Foster Road at about 12:45 a.m. The motorcycle, which did not have a working headlight, collided with the side of a westbound vehicle making a left turn at Southeast 65th Avenue, according to a preliminary investigation by police.

Police did not issue any citations in the crash.
