A 16-year-old boy was shot and seriously injured Thursday evening, says the Portland Police Bureau.

Police responded to a shooting call on N Interstate and N Jessup St at 4:21 p.m.

Officers found a teenager who had been shot and seriously injured. He was treated by EMS and taken to the hospital for further treatment. His injuries were said to be severe but non-life-threatening.

The suspect or suspects left the scene and have not been arrested or identified.
