The Oregon Department of Human Services said it is looking for missing infant twin brothers who they say could be at risk.
Five-month-olds Jacob and Jacobi were last seen on North Portland on March 24 with their mother and father, Alexis and William Wade.
The couple may be taking the twins out of state, and possibly could be heading to Washington D.C.
DHS officials with the Child Welfare Division believe that the infants may be at risk, and they are searching for the family to assess the safety of the children.
“Anyone who suspects they have information about the location of the [twins] or Alexis and William Wade should call 911 or the Oregon Child Abuse Hotline at 1-855-503-SAFE (7233).”
Jacob is slightly bigger than his brother, weighing 8 pounds compared to Jacobi’s 7.6 pounds.
More from the Oregon DHS:
Sometimes when a child is missing they may be in significant danger and ODHS may need to locate them to assess and support their safety. As ODHS works to do everything it can to find these missing children and assess their safety, media alerts will be issued in some circumstances when it is determined necessary. Sometimes, in these situations, a child may go missing repeatedly, resulting in more than one media alert for the same child.
