A Portland rapper who got his start on TikTok rang the bell at the Moda Center Thursday night.
Yeat was born in California, but his family moved to Lake Oswego where he attended Lakeridge High School.
The rapper performed for a rather young crowd that swayed back and forth (and at times flipped upside-down) to songs that made their viral debut on social media.
Yeat filled the Moda Center's half-arena "Theater of the Clouds" setup with smoke and flames for his fans who matched his energy, many also in their balaclava and ski masks.
The artist glided through his set list, but an inevitable moshpit started to form as soon as fans saw white and green strobe lights filling the room.
Everyone screamed the lyrics to "Get Busy," a song that went viral on TikTok with a loud bell at the 1:30 mark of the song.
Yeat didn't mention his Portland ties during the concert and but fans in still welcomed until the end of his performance. The star moved through the nearly three dozen songs on the setlist at breakneck speed, wrapping up the show in roughly 45 minutes.
The social media famed star will perform in Garden City, Idaho on Friday.
