Cannabis is a massive industry across Oregon that brings in tens of millions of dollars a year.

One company is the second-largest dispensary chain in the state.

On top of the success, it's also made a political splash.

One of its founders reportedly hosted fundraisers for the likes of Gov. Tina Kotek, Secretary of State Shemia Fagan and Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pederson.

However, according to KATU’s news partners at Willamette Week, there have been a few problems, including some tax-related money issues and lawsuits the company faces.
