Damian Lillard's Injury Status For Pelicans-Trail Blazers Game

Damian Lillard has been ruled out for Monday's game.

On Monday night, the Portland Trail Blazers are hosting the New Orleans Pelicans in Oregon.

For the game, they will be without their best player, as Damian Lillard has been ruled out due to a calf injury.

He has missed each of the last two games, so this will be his third straight out of the lineup.

Underdog NBA: "Damian Lillard (calf) ruled out Monday."

The superstar point guard has had a fantastic season with averages of 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists per contest.

He is also shooting 46.3% from the field and 37.1% from the three-point range.

The Trail Blazers enter the night with a 32-42 record in 74 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and 2-8 in their last ten games.

At home, the Trail Blazers have gone 17-20 in the 37 games they have hosted in Portland, Oregon.

They will likely miss the NBA Playoffs for the second consecutive season.

As for the Pelicans, they are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-37 record in 74 games.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and in the middle of a four-game winning streak.

However, the Pelicans have struggled on the road, with a 13-24 record in the 37 games they have played outside of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Last season, they made the NBA Playoffs after beating the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers in the play-in tournament.
