Gun found on Portland elementary school playground

PORTLAND, Ore. —
Portland police found a gun on a playground in a Southeast Portland elementary school on Thursday.

Authorities say a custodian found the weapon inside a backpack at Cherry Park Elementary.
There were not any students at school today, according to police.
Officers question two people at the scene.
