Portland, Maine – Matthew Lugo went 2-for-4 with a bases-loaded triple in the 8th inning to break a 2-2 tie leading the Portland Sea Dogs (5-4) to a 5-2 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (7-4). The win on Wednesday night was Portland’s first at Hadlock Field this season.

Boys’ lacrosse shows potential during season-opening win over Scarborough
In its season opener, Windham’s varsity boys’ lacrosse team traveled to Scarborough on Thursday, April 11 to take on the Red Storm and came away a winner. A slow start led to the Eagles being down 3-0 after one quarter. However, this didn’t last long, and Windham came back to pull ahead after three quarters, held on to that lead and kept Scarborough to one goal in the fourth quarter which gave Windham their first ‘W’ of the season with an 8-6 victory.
