Several arrested in connection to Porterville murder

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (FOX26) — Multiple people are now behind bars following the death and murder of 22-year-old Ruben Facio of Porterville.

According to the Porterville Police Department, Facio was shot several times on Feb. 24 near Prospect Street and Henderson Avenue. He was found by emergency responders and rushed to the hospital where he later died.

Tuesday, multiple law enforcement agencies and departments issued warrants at several homes across Porterville and Visalia.

Those warrants, officials say, led to several suspects believed to be connected to the murder along with weapons, ammunition, and more evidence related to the incident.

During the operation, investigators say one suspect barricaded himself in a home on N. Division Street in Porterville.

That suspect, identified as Robert Bradley, eventually surrendered after a lengthy standoff with police and SWAT.

By the end of the operation, the Porterville Police Department says the following suspects were arrested Tuesday and booked into the Tulare County Jail where they face the following charges:

• Robert Bradley, 22: Murder, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Gang Enhancement, Accessory After the Fact and an un-related Felony Robbery Warrant
• Luis Moreno, 28: Murder, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Gang Enhancement, Accessory After the Fact
• Britney Aguilar, 35
• Ashley Horton: Murder, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Gang Enhancement, Accessory After the Fact.
• Ruben Pena, 22: Resisting Arrest, Felon in Possession of Loaded Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
• Marcos Pena Sr, 48: Resisting Arrest, Felon in Possession of Loaded Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
• Marcos Pena Jr, 21: Resisting arrest.
• Jessica Hernandez, 48: Resisting Arrest, Felon in Possession of Loaded Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
• Christafer Berumen, 25: Arrested for three active warrants but was cited and release. He must appear in court at a later time.
• “Male Juvenile,” 16 (Visalia Juvenile Hall): Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm with Obliterated Serial Numbers
• Juan Bobadilla, 22: Murder, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Gang Enhancement, Accessory After the Fact.
• Angelo Meza, 27: Felon in Possession of Loaded Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
• Nathaniel Lindero, 19 (Arrested April 5, 2023): Murder, gang enhancement, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a sawed-off shotgun, accessory after the fact, resisting arrest.
