PSLPD: Tesla crosses median leading to 3-car collision on Port St. Lucie Boulevard
ST. LUCIE COUNTY ― A 21-year-old man driving a Tesla sedan crossed a median into oncoming traffic, which led to a three-car collision on Port St. Lucie Boulevard Friday, said Sgt. John Dellacroce, a Port St. Lucie police spokesperson.

What Happened: The driver traveling north in the Tesla on Port St. Lucie Boulevard before Southwest Glenview Court crossed the median of the road and collided with an oncoming Nissan van around 4:47 p.m. Friday.
The 38-year-old driver of the Nissan van then collided with an Infiniti sedan and rolled over, Dellacroce said
Citation and injuries: The drivers of the Tesla, Nissan and Infiniti were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Police issued a citation for careless driving to the man driving the Tesla, Dellacroce said.
