PORT CHARLOTTE — The Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte branch of the American Association of University Women awarded 14 local scholarships during 2023.
Twelve girls attended local STEM camps — which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering & Math — and two adult women, were awarded $1,500 college scholarships, for a total of $7,050 in awards, according to a news release.
