Homicide Investigation Underway Into Fatal Shooting of Male in Pomona

Pomona, Los Angeles County, CA: Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the area of North Loranne Avenue and East Holt Avenue in the city of Pomona on Saturday, June 3, around 7:30 p.m.

One adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds, was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital by responding Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.

The victim was treated at the hospital, however, he succumbed to his injuries, according to the Pomona PD.

The shooting reportedly preceded a vehicle collision involving a Mercedes into a parked pickup truck. Multiple evidence markers were observed placed by Pomona PD officers at the scene.
