POMONA, Calif. – A pedestrian killed when she was struck by a pickup truck in Pomona was publicly identified Saturday.
Donna Lee was 59 years old and homeless, according to the coroner’s office. She died from traumatic injuries.
Officers from the Pomona Police Department responded at 9:26 p.m. Tuesday to Holt Avenue and Hershey Street regarding a traffic collision where they learned Lee was struck west of Hershey, according to police. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
