Residents Air Concerns About Speeding In Etna Green
ETNA GREEN — Multiple residents shared concerns over speeding and the placement of a four-way stop sign and speeding in town. At the Etna Green Town Council’s meeting Tuesday, the council announced discussed plans to place a four-way stop sign at Walnut and Spring streets. According to the town’s lawyer, Nick Jacobs, a previous ordinance for a stop sign at the street was still on the books, and a hearing wasn’t needed to place another one there.

Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were called to Country Charm Laundry after receiving a report of individuals trying to break into a washing machine. During the course of the investigation, officers determined 48-year-old Eric Pedroza was allegedly in possession of a hypodermic needle and prescription medication not prescribed to him.

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Authorities say a Plymouth man drove through a stop sign on C.R. 7 this morning causing an accident at the intersection of S.R. 119 around 9:05 a.m. Eighty-year-old Charles King drove his 2012 Ford Escape through the intersection and was hit by a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500. The Marshall County Commissioners made their appointments to the Marshall County Tourism Commission during their last meeting. The commissioners conducted interviews of all of the candidates who submitted applications to fill the seats on the newly-established board. The commissioners adopted an ordinance in February which indicates that a seven member board would be created where five members will be appointed by the Marshall County Commissioners, and the Mayor of the City of Plymouth will have two appointees. Those appointed members will populate the Marshall County Tourism Commission.
