Plymouth Police Department Officers Make Two Arrests

The Plymouth Police Department recently arrested two people in two separate incidents.

Plymouth Police were called to Walmart Sunday, May 28 on a report of a suspicious person parked in the parking lot.  Officers found the sole occupant of the vehicle and identified him as Robert Quinn Jr., 38 years old, from Winamac.

Earlier in the day, Walmart management asked that Quinn leave the property after two previous issues earlier on Sunday. Officers repeated the request to leave the property, but Quinn repeatedly refused to comply, according to the report.

Quinn was reportedly found to be intoxicated and was taken to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of criminal trespass and public intoxication.

In a separate incident, Plymouth officers were called to W. Jefferson Street east of the Dairy Queen for the report of a suspicious person, Monday, May 29 at 5 a.m. ET.

Police stopped to speak with a man they identified as 21-year-old Landon Haggerty of Plymouth. After speaking with Haggerty, officers reportedly determined that he had an outstanding felony warrant for battery on a public safety official and was taken into custody without incident.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
