The Normal U-High Pioneers will play for a 1A State Title on Saturday after a 2-0 victory over Pleasant Plains in a semifinal game. After a scoreless first half the Pioneers got goals from Aubrey Balota and Scout Minnaert. Nina Sundaram got the shutout in goal. U-High will play Rock Island Alleman in the championship game at 5pm on Saturday at North Central College while the Pleasant Plains Cardinals will play IC Catholic at 3pm for 3rd place.
