LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A hacker group linked to Russia is suspected of targeting infrastructure facilities in West Texas. In January, the hackers caused a water tank in Muleshoe to overflow for about 45 minutes, according to United States Cybersecurity Firm Mandiant. The City of Muleshoe took the machine offline and switched to manual operations.
