A 56-year-old Plainfield man was injured Sunday following a single motorcycle crash in the area of North 2650th Road and East 1529th Road in South Ottawa Township.
According to La Salle County Sheriff’s deputies, Manuel Salazar-Vazquez was driving west on North 2650th Road at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday when he lost control of his motorcycle, entered the north ditch and struck a tree. He was taken by Life Flight helicopter to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
