City of Williamsburg moves forward with African American Heritage Trail development
The narrative for a new African American Heritage Trail will be developed by marketing agency JMI in collaboration with the community, the City of Williamsburg announced. Founded by Williamsburg native Ken Johnson, the agency will collect personal stories from residents, facilitate community conversations, work closely with the African American Heritage Trail Advisory Committee and connect with local historians and researchers.
