    Man accused of choking victims to steal jewelry, wallet in Queens: NYPD

    QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man is accused of choking several people while robbing them in Queens, according to the NYPD.

    The first incident happened on Aug. 24 around 3 a.m. on 78th Street. A man was approached by the suspect and was put in a chokehold as his jewelry was stolen, according to authorities.

    In the second incident, on Sept. 7 around 4:30 a.m. on 78th Street, the suspect allegedly approached another man, choked them and stole their wallet, police said. The suspect is accused of fleeing the scene on a bicycle going southbound on 86th Street.

    Then, on Sept. 8 around 3:30 a.m. near 34th Avenue and 75th Street, a man was approached by the suspect, police said. The suspect allegedly pushed the man to the ground and stole his backpack and cellphone, according to authorities.
