Diocese of Pittsburgh announces merging of Butler County parishes

BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. — The Diocese of Pittsburgh has announced more mergers for parishes in Butler County.

Bishop David Zubik announced on Saturday that Holy Sepulcher and St. Kilian parishes will combine into the new St. Mark the Evangelist Church.

The merge will go into effect on July 1 and will impact residents in Cranberry Township, Adams Township and Glade Mills.

This will bring the total number of parishes in the diocese down to 61.
