According to a report, the Steelers could be interested in moving up in the upcoming NFL Draft.

EJ Snyder of Bootleg Football and Windy City Gridiron, says the Steelers have been in talks with the Chicago Bears on moving up to the #9 spot.

The Steelers currently sit at #17th overall.

The move would likely give the Steelers their pick of the litter for an offensive tackle or, if they want, a cornerback.

The trade back would give the Bears the 17th and their second pick in the second-round at 49.

The Steelers would retain their second-round pick at 32, which is essentially the last pick of the first-round with the Miami Dolphins being punished.

That 32nd pick is a result of their trade with Chicago for wide receiver Chase Claypool in the middle of last year’s season.

The Bears already traded their first-overall pick to the Carolina Panthers, showing they are looking to get more picks.

The last time the Steelers traded up in the first-round of the draft, they picked inside Devin Bush, who turned out to not be worth the pick.

The Steelers decided to not exercise his fifth-year option and he recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks.
