Zac Brown Band and Carrie Underwood top the lineup for this year’s upcoming Country Bay Music Festival Nov. 9-10 at the Miami Marine Stadium. This year’s lineup has been expanded and will also include Dustin Lynch, Chase Rice, Diplo presents Thomas Wesley, Chris Janson, Parmalee, Gabby Barrett, Chayce Beckham, Niko Moon, and Redferrin. Rounding out the festival roster are rising stars such as Chase Matthew, Willie Jones, RVSHVD, Owen Riegling, Dee Jay Silver, Orlando Mendez, Ryan Montgomery and DJ ILLMANIK.

Lago tried to block the appointment Tuesday of Javier Baños, a former commission candidate and the new publisher of Gables Insider — which he took over from Commissioner Ariel Fernandez after the latter was elected last year — to the Historic Preservation Board. Man injured in drive-by shooting on Turnpike in south Miami-Dade
MIAMI - A man was rushed to the hospital after he was shot while driving on the Turnpike in south Miami-Dade. According to Miami-Dade police, just before midnight, they received word of a shooting in the northbound lanes of the highway near SW 112th Avenue. Arriving officers found a white sedan on the side of the road with bullet holes in the driver's side window. The man driving the car had been shot, the woman next to him was not injured. The man was taken to Jackson South Medical Center in critical condition. Police said their preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle drove alongside the man's car, someone inside fired into it, and then it sped off.Police believe the man and woman knew the person who shot at them. A person who police believe is connected to the shooting was taken into custody about five miles away from the scene of the shooting at an apartment complex at SW 284th Street and Sw 145th Avenue.

June 12, 2024 - Tampa-based Nickelytics, an advertising technology startup, has acquired Signs Printing Solutions, an independent print shop headquartered in Miami. Nickelytics executives believe integrating the company into operations will streamline production processes, improve quality control, reduce costs and diversify revenue streams. MIAMI - The Miami-Dade Police Department announced they had made an arrest in the killing of beloved Miami Norland High School football coach Keon Bernard Smith.Police said Lance Brian Rolle, 39, is facing murder charges for the killing of Smith on June 3rd in Opa-locka. Smith, 49, was gunned down early morning at 12:50 a.m., at an apartment building in the area of N.W. 132nd St. and 28th Ave in Opa-locka.
