The man accused of killing three people in a Pine Hills shooting spree last month was scheduled for a hearing Monday but he waived the appearance. Keith Moses, 19, is currently charged with second-degree murder for the killings, though the State Attorney has said she plans to put the case in front of a grand jury to indict him on first-degree murder, which would make him eligible for the death penalty. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says Moses first killed 38-year-old Nathacha Augustin after she and Moses’ cousin picked him up in a car. Later, after deputies cleared the scene of that murder investigation, Moses allegedly shot and killed T’yonna Major and Spectrum News 13 reporter Dylan Lyons. Court records show Moses’ lawyer has already entered a written plea of not guilty and waived the arraignment.
