A man in Pike County was arrested early Tuesday  morning after staff at Belfry High School found him passed out.

Around 4 am, cleaning staff of Belfry High School went inside the school to begin their morning duties when they stumbled upon 31 year old Bobby Cantrell in the school’s gym. According to police, staff woke up Cantrell and asked him to leave the property but he refused as he claimed he was homeless and needed a place to sleep.

Police believe that Cantrell appeared to be intoxicated and he admitted to police that he had taken Suboxone earlier that day.

Cantrell was arrested for public intoxication, menacing, and trespassing.
