64-year-old killed in north Phoenix motorcycle crash

The man has been identified as Gerald Reece, 64.

PHOENIX — A 64-year-old man was killed in a crash Friday morning in north Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department

The crash was reported at 10:43 a.m. at the intersection of Cave Creek and Jomax roads.

Police said the motorcycle driver struck the back of a stopped car while he was driving south on Cave Creek Road. The driver of the car stayed on scene and was evaluated for impairment, no signs were noted.  

Police said a motorcycle driver involved in the crash was taken to the hospital where he did not survive his injuries. He has been identified as Gerald Reece, 64.
