Spitz Restaurant is now open in Phoenix’s Desert Ridge Marketplace. The new vibrant concept offers a healthy spin on Mediterranean street food in a fast-casual environment.
Located in the food court of Desert Ridge Marketplace in Phoenix, Spitz Restaurant offers a taste of Mediterranean-style street food in a convenient, fast-paced environment. The destination made its debut in the shopping center this spring, opening as the 21st location in its growing collection of restaurants across the states.
Named after the vertical method for broiling proteins to ensure rich flavors, Spitz Restaurant features a unique and colorful design with neon accents, Instagrammable decor and a relaxed outdoor patio. The dining space offers a variety of seating for those looking for a quick bite to eat, in addition to classic board and card games to be played for those looking to kick back and relax for a bit.
The menu boasts healthy twists on traditional European fare, including vegan, paleo, gluten-free, keto-friendly and vegetarian items. Guests will enjoy a variety of wraps, zesty gyros, garden bowls, falafel and much more from the fare lineup, with some house favorites including the Street Cart Wrap with garlic aioli, fried lavash chips, romaine, cabbage, tomato, onion, green pepper, cucumber and tzatziki; Medi Bowl, crafted with your choice of protein, tahini and dill quinoa, hummus, pickled red onions, feta, tzatziki, tomato, cucumber, olives, crispy garbanzo beans and za’atar; or, for the vegan diners, opt for Berliner Bowl, with falafel, tahini and dill quinoa, pickled red onions, carrots, roasted corn, tomato, cucumber, cabbage, Berliner red sauce, lemon-herb tahini, lavash chips and sumac.
Spitz Restaurant is one of the few sites to participate in Desert Ridge Marketplace’s Sip & Stroll program, offering shoppers the opportunity to take an alcoholic beverage on the go while they shop. These sweet sips include housemade sangrias, craft beers, scratch cocktails and glasses of wine.
Spitz Restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
