Man hit, killed by multiple vehicles on freeway

A man in his 40s was hit by a semi-truck and two other vehicles at the Interstate 10 and 17 Split in Phoenix. All of the drivers stayed at the scene after the collisions. Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the incident. It's unknown why the man was on the road and not in a vehicle.
