Lane Closure on Jerry Dove Drive
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - The West Virginia Division of Highways announced there will be lane closures on WV 279, Jerry Dove Drive, northbound and southbound this week. The closures will be from the Jerry Dove exit southbound, to Genesis Boulevard, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2024, through Thursday, April 25, 2024, for placement of the new traffic signal heads.

Improving Conditions for the End of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - After rain showers and a cold front crossed this morning, we will see improving conditions for the rest of this week with temperatures continuing to rise into the weekend. By Friday high temperatures will return above average into the mid-70s and we even expect to see temperatures above 80 degrees this weekend. Conditions will remain dry for the rest of the work week, with our next rain chance to come on Saturday morning. This will be the only chance of rain in the forecast until next week.
