PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A shooting in Kingsessing Friday night left one dead and two injured.
Police say officers responded to a call for a shooting on Pentridge Street around 7:30 p.m.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a man on a front porch, unresponsive, with gunshot wounds to the face and neck.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
Police say two others — a 55-year-old woman and 36-year-old man — were also injured in the shooting.
The woman was shot in the chest and arm. The man, in chest, groin and arm. Both were taken to a hospital and are in stable condition.
Police believe the shooting happened during a robbery attempt.
