PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are working to identify a group of armed robbers who broke into a home and tied up the owner and his family — all while a young child watched it unfold.

Police said it happened on Nov. 6 around 10:15 a.m. on North Seventh Street in East Oak Lane, between 66th and 67th avenues.

According to authorities, the victim, who runs a business out of his home, was outside of his residence with an employee when a black Acura pulled up and four masked men got out.

Surveillance video shows the gunmen run from behind the car to the front of the house, grabbing the victims at gunpoint and pulling them inside.

Once inside, officials said the victims were tied up. Family members were also detained and beaten, police said.

Video shows the men beating someone on the kitchen floor while a young child watches.

The offenders took the victim’s safe, guns and jewelry before fleeing west on 66th Avenue.
