Are People Immoral For Price Gouging During Crisis?

Today, Dom lead off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the funky weekend that all Philadelphians were put through after a chemical leak affected the City’s water supply. After an announcement Sunday that tap water could be dangerous only a few hours later, Philadelphians rushed to stores within and around Philadelphia to hoard packages of bottled water.
This irked Producer Dan, with him interjecting his opinion on the lack of morals presented by those buying packages of water to resell for inflated prices. Dom disagrees with Dan’s stance on the issue, explaining why he believes price gouging is a positive in certain circumstances, explaining why store owners hoarding products to resell doesn’t bother him.

Jeff Brown Joins, Tells How He Plans to Help Philadelphias Through Water Crisis

In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Emily Greene, Deputy State Director of Americans for Prosperity Pennsylvania, to hear about an infringement of the First Amendment by her alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh. Recently, AFP and the Lincoln Institute revealed that lawmakers have sought to cancel events from speakers that don’t agree with the liberal mentality of Universities, allowing officials to silence ideology as they please. Emily Greene explains what AFP hopes to do to push back against the push here, directing listeners to KeystonePlaybook.com for more information.

Then, Dom welcomes in Mayoral candidate Jeff Brown back onto the Dom Giordano Program for an update on his campaign on a very appropriate day, after he tweeted yesterday that his family’s ShopRites in Philadelphia will be stocked to the gills with water after a chemical leak sent Philadelphians into a frenzy buying up bottled water. Jeff tells that his wife is now running the business, and she implemented a 3 package limit on water to allow all Philadelphians access to clean water. Then, Jeff calls out the officials currently running the City, telling that he wasn’t contacted to help organize a relief effort but he’s more than happy to help.

Helen Gym Apparently Wants Nobody to Help Philadelphians

In today’s third hour, Dom leads off by continuing the conversation after the Jeff Brown interview, calling back to a negative Tweet sent by the Helen Gym camp that Jeff Brown and other candidates should not get themselves involved in the water crisis in Philadelphia. This sets off both Dom and Dan, calling out the hypocrisy of Helen Gym, with Dan making the point that this is just another example of the ‘unity’ that Gym preaches, ensuring other candidates don’t do what’s she’s too lazy to do herself. Then, Dom plays back some clips from another hyper-Progressive Philadelphian, Larry Krasner, who appeared on John Stewart’s show over the weekend trying to justify his continued experiment with the people of Philadelphia. Also, Dom provides listeners with some tips for where to find bottled water, telling that a couple supermarkets have indicated that they’ve restocked since yesterday’s chaotic run on water.
