Authorities in Ontario County are looking for the person who abandoned a dog along the side of a road.
They say they found the black and brown mixed-breed dog near death on Stryker Road in Phelps this morning.
The dog is emaciated and in critical condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 394-4560.
