Record-breaking warmth possible to start the new work week
The weather was absolutely stunning over the weekend with highs well above average both Saturday and Sunday. Both days were nice and dry and fairly sunny as well. Saturday saw us get back into the 80s for the first time since September 12th and the high was only three degrees away from the record. Sunday was a touch cooler in the 70s with a lake breeze but still a gorgeous day.

A few different seasons this coming week along with several different rain chances
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--All in all, expect a fairly nice weekend with mild temperatures. Temperatures will be near 80 on Saturday for some and then a bit cooler on Sunday as winds switch onshore. Winds will be brisk later Saturday in response to the tropical system south of us. The rain will stay away until later Monday into early Tuesday as a cold front works in from the west. Then, there will be another rain chance later Thursday into early Friday with a stronger cold front. Highs only near 60 by the end of the week compared to the low 80s on Monday. One more sidenote. Starting Sunday, our sunrises will be 7 AM (or later) until early November when we go back to standard time.

The showers will form along a line and front so the rain will be fairly quick in and quick out in any given community and won't last long.
