REVIEW: 3rd Street Market’s Clutch Sandwich Co.
The 3rd Street Market Hall just welcomed a new sandwich shop to its wide array of vendors with the opening of Clutch Sandwich Co. in September. Clutch Sandwich Co. is a grab-and-go sandwich spot that specializes in offering classic and beloved subs, while also experimenting with more inventive concoctions. Between the “Clutch Club” (smoked turkey, ham, bacon, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato and herbed Dijon aioli on grilled sourdough) and “The Gardener” (roasted cauliflower, roasted red pepper bean spread, horseradish sauce, caramelized onions and Dijon mustard on toasted sourdough), there are plenty of options on the menu for every type of sandwich connoisseur.

When the Milwaukee Brewers advanced to the World Series last week, the group wanted to show support for the Wisconsin team. Once the outline was set, the group moved berries outside of the shape away from the main design and added a plastic sheet baseball on top. Fawn Gottschalk, owner and president of Gottschalk Cranberry, said her family farm was still actively harvesting cranberries and it worked in their schedule to have enough cranberries to make the vision a reality. The project was a team effort
