Musician Caleb Dillard of Matoaca performs at River Street Market in Petersburg, Va. in April 2022.

The renovated outdoor event space which includes a covered stage is a part of the historic Appomattox Iron Works, an iron foundry complex from the 1800s. It was designated a Virginia State Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The Iron Works at 30 W. Old St. is located in the middle of a city block bordered by W. Old St, W. Bank St., Exchange Ave./Alley, and another alley/N. Market St. The entrance is between Buttery Baking House and Penniston's Alley Antiques and Collectibles.

Shortly after dropping his original single 'Run Away,' musician Caleb Dillard of Matoaca who plays folk and bluegrass jams will be the first opening act.

"I'm super excited to be part of Friday Flow," Dillard said. "Good times will be had by all. Can't wait to see you there."

"Make plans to join us Friday nights in Petersburg where the music flows," Lowery said.
