HEBRON, Ky. — Breanna Barker knew college wasn’t for her. She’s too much of an adrenaline junkie. “I love doing the scary stuff,” she said. Barker is an apprentice at Ironworkers Local 44, where she often works 60 or 70 feet up in the air. From a new soccer facility at the University of Cincinnati to changes at Great American Tower, none of this would be possible without construction workers like Barker. The problem is there’s a shortage of these workers across the country.

Aurora woman arrested for battery on a child
AURORA, Ind. (WISH) — An Aurora woman was arrested on Thursday for battery on a child resulting in bodily injury after an investigation that began in March. The investigation began on March 13 when the Indiana Department of Child Services contacted the Indiana State Police after receiving information that a juvenile child had allegedly been battered by an adult female at a residence in Aurora earlier that morning.

Mostly Dry Sunday but an Unsettled Week
CINCINNATI (WXIX) -Sunday started off on a dry and somewhat humid note. Afternoon high temps will nudge into the upper 70s to 80 degrees. As a weak front works through the region we stand the chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm Sunday afternoon but most will stay dry. Rain and thunder arrives on Monday morning and will stick with us through the day with high temps limited to the low 70s. Tuesday and Wednesday will see the possibility of severe weather as a more powerful front edges closer to the tri-state. Unfortunately, shower and thunderstorm chances remain into the upcoming weekend.
