Amy Tharp (GoFundMe)
A Petaluma nurse and mother of two has died after a camping accident. Amy Tharp died on May 26th after a utility task vehicle accident in Shasta County. She was camping with family and friends during the holiday weekend. Born Amy Preston in 1982 in Ireland, she moved to Sonoma County with her family when she was 17. She married Nick Tharpe of Petaluma and worked as a nurse for Kaiser Permanente. The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover medical bills and household expenses. It’s raised over $72,000 dollars so far.
