A 29-year-old man from Concord has been convicted of murder in connection with a deadly shooting at the Petaluma Outlets in 2019. The shooting in a parking lot left a 19-year-old man dead. Prosecutors say David Kyle Lubkin met with the victim, pretending he wanted to buy a gold necklace that was advertised on Craigslist. He instead confronted the man about another necklace purchase made a few days earlier, then shot him. On Tuesday, Lubkin was convicted of first-degree murder and discharging a gun at a vehicle causing death. He faces 50 years to life in prison. A hearing to schedule his sentencing will be held on June 13th.
