Tip leads to arrest of suspect with 43 fraudulent debit cards in Rohnert Park
A tip about a suspicious person using debit cards before sunrise at a Rohnert Park bank led to the arrest of a man with 43 fraudulent debit cards, police said Saturday.Police said they received a tip about 6:40 a.m. Friday that someone was using fraudulent debit cards at a bank in the 200 block of Rohnert Park Expressway.Police said Antonio Kronidis was stopped in a vehicle departing the area. In addition to the debit cards, he was found to have more than $3,000 in cash, according to police. Kronidis was accused of identity theft, fraudulent use of an access card, grand theft and conspiracy, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said in a statement. He was booked into the Sonoma County jail with bond set at $250,000.Kronidis is a suspect in over a dozen previous cases across California involving fraudulent transactions, police said. Woman from Reno Identified as Fatality in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Lakeville Highway
The woman who died in a three-vehicle crash outside of Petaluma has been identified. On November 21st, 77-year-old Kathleen Swenson of Reno, Nevada was a passenger in an SUV going south on Lakeville Highway just south of Old Lakeville Road. A pick up truck going the same direction veered into the opposite lane and crashed into another truck. As a result, that truck went into the southbound lane and hit the SUV that Swenson was in. Swenson died in the crash. The driver of the first truck, Maria Sebastian, was charged with driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.

Petaluma Police Conduct Abandoned Vehicle Sweep Leading to Notices, Citations, and a Tow
Petaluma police conducted an Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Sweep on Thursday. They were looking to address parking issues, including street parking of boats, RV’s, and trailers throughout the city. The sweep resulted in 53 vehicles marked with courtesy notices, 26 citations for parking violations, and one vehicle tow.
