Chargers Golf Team Wins Multi-School Meet Over New Brunswick, Perth Amboy and JFK

PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Spotswood High School golf team continued to roll this week. Spotswood won a multischool meet with New Brunswick, Perth Amboy and JFK on Wednesday at the Raritan Landing Golf Course. The victories improved the Chargers overall season record to 9-1-1. Spotswood's only loss this season was to Monroe and the Chargers tied Timothy Christian High. Andrew Pearce led the leaderboard for the Chargers. Spotswood's Mia Masarik, Michael Furey and Dominic Spicuzzo rounded out the top four finishers in the meet. Monday's results include:

Spotswood is the defending Greater Middlesex Conference Blue Division champs. The Chargers currently lead the Blue Division with a 9-0-1 division record. Spotswood returns to action on Friday when the Chargers host Sayreville War Memorial High School at the Rossmoor Golf Club in Monroe Township. The Chargers won the previous meeting with the Bombers. Tee time is at 4 p.m.
