4h agoSipo's, a popular bakery in Perth Amboy, closed its doors over the weekend after serving the community for 50 years.
The European bakery was most popular for their Hungarian cookies.
The owner's daughter told News 12 New Jersey they almost never had a day off. She also said while the grind takes a toll, they're thankful for the love and support.
"We are so overwhelmed with gratitude after the outpouring of support from the community after announcing our closing," the company said in a post on Facebook. "We are so sad to say goodbye to everyone."
