A multi-vehicle collision occurred Thursday afternoon at the interchange of U.S. Highway 169 and Iowa Highway 141 east of Perry.
Public safety radio traffic indicates several injuries.
The crash, which occurred about 4:15 p.m., is under investigation at this hour by the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.
It was not immediately clear at the crash scene how many vehicles were involved in the incident.
A pickup truck sustained extensive front-end damage and came to rest pointing southward on the west shoulder of U.S. Highway 169 near the on ramp of westbound Iowa Highway 141.

The Perry Police Department, Bouton Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS also responded.
