The residents of Perry and in surrounding areas can mark their calendars to have a good time this Friday with some fun inside of Pattee Park.

Friday Fest is back this Friday from 6 to 9:30pm.The  Perry Chamber of Commerce has booked the band Rukkus to perform live music along with inflatables for kids and several different food trucks. Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti says that it is expected to have nice weather for people to pack a cooler and come out to Pattee Park for some entertainment.

“So it’s just a fun, fun evening to kick off the summer. Live music. Who doesn’t love that at the park? Wish we could do it all the time, but we’re just doing it one time this summer. And yeah, Ruckus is celebrating 50 years this year, so it’s kind of fun to have that be like a staple of our summer music series to have them joining us for Friday Fest.”

Pasutti also reminds everyone in attendance to bring a lawn chair or blanket. This event is free and open to the public. For more information click the link here.
