The Perry County Fiscal Court announced that June 1st-3rd will be community cleanup day for the communities of Wendell Airport, Lower Second Creek and Glomawr Stormking.

Officials with the Perry County Fiscal Court said they will provide trash bags and gloves to those participating in the cleanup and will only collect bagged garbage during this cleanup, which means they will not accept appliances, furniture or tires.

Larger items will be accepted at the county garage Monday-Friday from 8am to 3pm free of charge.
