Downtown Peoria restaurant to reopen for breakfast and lunch. Here's what to expect

Craft 309 Kitchen and Bar plans to reopen on Memorial Day.

The downtown Peoria restaurant closed earlier this year. JC Shurts, corporate director of food and beverage for Hawkeye Hotels, said he wanted to revamp the business.

“We're putting everything we have into this — mind, body, soul, blood, sweat and tears,” Shurts said in April.

Visiting Craft 309 in downtown Peoria

Address: Craft 309 is located at 500 Hamilton Blvd. in Peoria and is connected to Four Points by Sheraton Peoria.

What are the hours? When the restaurant reopens, it will serve breakfast and lunch. According to the business's website, "When we find enough awesome team members to open for dinner, we will!"

Guests can find breakfast from 7 until 10 a.m., and lunch will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What's on the menu?

For breakfast, customers will find options such as:

• Avocado toast with carrots, pickled red onion and cherry tomato for $10
• Stack o' cakes − which offers four buttermilk pancakes, syrup and butter for $13
• 309 Breakfast Sandwich with sausage, egg white Florentine, pickled Fresno chilis, Swiss cheese, craft sauce and breakfast potatoes for $13.

For lunch, customers will find salads, pizzas and more. Menu items include:

• 309 smash burger for $14
• Fish and chips for $17
• Classic 10-inch pepperoni pizza for $15
• Garden salad for $12

Drinks: Craft 309 will also offer cocktails such as a 309 Old Fashioned and a draft wall. Cocktails range in price from $12 to $14, while drafts range from $5 to $15.
