PEORIA, Ill. – Four more juveniles are in trouble with Peoria Police for allegedly trying to commit a carjacking over the weekend.
Officers responded to a call of four juveniles attempting to break into a vehicle around 2:20 Sunday afternoon near Hillyer Place and Martin Luther King, Junior Drive.
All four allegedly tried to flee when cops arrived, but were quickly arrested.
Two 12-year-olds, a 13-year-old, and a 15-year-old were put in juvenile custody on charges of Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft, Conspiracy to Commit Motor Vehicle Theft, and Resisting Police.
One of the four also faces an Aggravated Battery charge for allegedly assaulting an officer.
