1 killed, 4 injured in shooting Saturday night in Pensacola

One person was killed and four more were injured in a shooting Saturday night at a gathering in Pensacola.

Approximately 50 to 100 people were gathered in the 200 block of Crescent Drive, according to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.

An individual entered the gathering and shot a male victim multiple times. The male was transported to a hospital but ultimately succumbed to his wounds. His identity has not been released at this time.

Four other individuals sustained wounds that did not appear to be life threatening, according to an ECSO spokesperson.

ECSO investigators are still conducting interviews with witnesses and trying to identify and locate the suspect.
