PPD: Officers find man wanted in stabbing near Tanglewood Apartments

The Pensacola Police Department found the suspect who was wanted in connection to a stabbing that happened on Thursday.

According to a Tweet posted by PPD, officers were searching for the suspect in the area of Tanglewood Apartments off Spanish Trail Road.

PPD spokesperson Mike Wood told the News Journal it is a minor stabbing and is domestic in nature. Authorities have not released the suspect's name.

The suspect is being interviewed by the PPD and will be transported to Escambia County Jail at the conclusion of the interview. Formal charges will be addressed during his booking.
